How to Measure and Track Body Measurements Correctly

Tracking Body Measurements in the FitVisio App

To log your body measurements, follow these steps:

1. On the account homepage, under the overview section, select 💪Body Measurement in the form.
2. Select the body part.
3. Enter the size in centimeters (cm).
4. Adjust the date of the entry (if necessary).

Each time you log a measurement, the overview with the graph will update.

Tips for Measuring Different Body Parts

What you will need:

• A tape measure
• A mirror (for some measurements)

Measurement Procedure:

• Neck: Wrap the tape around the narrowest part of your neck.
• Shoulders: Stand upright and wrap the tape around the widest part of your shoulders, across the shoulder blades.
• Chest: Measure while standing, with your arms by your sides. Wrap the tape around the fullest part of your chest.
• Left and Right Bicep: Extend your left arm forward, bend it at a 90-degree angle, and flex the bicep. Measure the widest part of the bicep.
• Left and Right Forearm: Extend your left arm forward, bend it at a 90-degree angle, and measure the widest part of your forearm.
• Stomach: Measure at the level of your navel.
• Waist: Find the narrowest part of your waist, usually above the navel. Measure while in a relaxed position.
• Hips: Stand with your feet together and measure the widest part of your hips.
• Left and Right Thigh: Stand straight and measure the circumference of the thighs at their widest point.
• Left and Right Calf: Stand straight and measure the circumference of the calves at their widest point.

Tips:

• Accuracy: For precise results, always measure in the same spot and in the same way.
• Consistency: Repeat the measurements regularly, for example, once a week, to track your progress.
