How to track and Measure Body Fat Accurately and Correctly

To log your body fat measurements, follow these steps:

1. On the account homepage, under the overview section, select 🍔Body Fat in the form.
2. Select the body part.
3. Enter the measurement in millimeters (mm).
4. Adjust the date of the entry (if necessary).

Each time you log a measurement, the overview with the graph will update.

Tips for Measuring Fat in Different Body Parts

What you will need:

• A caliper

Measurement Procedure:

• Chest: Place the caliper about 4-5 cm above the nipple towards the armpit.
• Mid-Axillary: Find the midpoint between the armpit and the hip and place the caliper perpendicular to the skin.
• Bicep: Extend your arm and flex the bicep. Place the caliper on the midpoint of the back of the bicep.
• Abdomen: Place the caliper 1 cm to the right of the navel.
• Suprailiac: Find the highest point of the hip bone and place the caliper 1 cm above it.
• Thigh: Place the caliper on the front of the thigh, about 10 cm above the knee joint.
• Calf: Place the caliper on the widest part of the calf.
• Subscapular: Find the lower angle of the shoulder blade and place the caliper diagonally below it.
• Tricep: Extend your arm behind your head and flex the tricep. Place the caliper on the midpoint of the back of the tricep.
• Lower Back: Find a point on your back that is level with the top edge of the hip bone and place the caliper there.

When to Take Measurements?

Like weighing yourself, it’s essential to measure under consistent conditions:

• In the morning on an empty stomach.
• Before exercise and any physical activities.
• At least once a week.
